Every year, around 200,000 tons of sheep's wool is burned or buried in Europe, simply because there is much more waste than there is a useful market for it. This is a shame and also bad for the environment due to all the CO2 emissions. Woola ® is changing this by putting this material to useful use! The packaging materials manufacturer is investing heavily in setting up and expanding a supply chain for this waste product. The sheep's wool is then used to make, among other things, shipping envelopes, with an inner lining of wool. This material is ideally suited to replace bubble wrap in regular bubble wrap envelopes. The wool provides very good shock resistance, is moisture-repellent and insulating. And above all, extremely innovative and eye-catching! The outside of the envelopes is made from FSC-certified and fully recycled paper. This gives you a very environmentally conscious envelope to send products to your customer! These woolen envelopes have an internal dimension of 150 x 210 mm. The wool inner lining is loose in the paper outer side and can therefore easily be separated by the end receiver. Thanks to the self-adhesive closure, you do not need any other packaging materials to close the envelopes. Affordable and convenient to use! Woola ® also invests in a return system for the wool inner lining. In Estonia, where Woola is located, you can already return the envelopes at designated locations. That is not yet possible here, but there are also the necessary tips with which you can still use the wool inner lining properly! Woola ® woolen envelopes: Provide good protection against shock, impact, moisture and temperature extremes. Have a self-adhesive closure. Are FSC certified and 100% recyclable (paper outer lining). Are made of 100% sheep wool (inner lining), which therefore does not need to be burned. One envelope of this size replaces approximately 882 cm² of bubble wrap. There are 225 envelopes in one full box. There are 2700 envelopes (12 boxes) on a full pallet.
