Privacy Policy

1. General
We do everything we can to guarantee the privacy of our customers and therefore handle personal and/or company data with care. Timmers Verpakkingen complies in all cases with the applicable laws and regulations, including the GDPR. This means that we in any case:
• process the personal and/or company data in accordance with the purpose for which they were provided (see section 2);
• the processing of personal and/or company data is limited to only those data
are at least necessary for the purposes for which they are processed (see section 2);
• do not pass on personal and/or company data to other parties, unless this is necessary for the implementation of the purposes for which they were provided (see paragraph 3);
• have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the
to ensure the security of personal and/or company data (see section 4);
• be aware of the rights of customers regarding personal and/or company data,
point this out to them and respect these rights (see par. 5).
• ask for explicit consent from customers if we require it
for the processing of personal and/or company data;

We will explain some of this below.

2. Processing of personal and/or company data of customers
The personal and/or company data are processed by Timmers Verpakkingen
for the following objectives:
• administrative purposes;
• communication (such as for invoices, the digital newsletter and other related activities)
For the above objectives, the following personal and/or company data may be requested:
• Company name;
• Infix;
• First name and last name of contact person;
• gender;
• address;
• (mobile) telephone number;
• email address;

For the above-mentioned objectives, personal and/or company data will not be kept longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or is required by law. This means that after termination the personal and/or company data will be deleted and the financial data will be retained for another 7 years as required by law.
We only process personal and/or company data of minors (persons under the age of 18) if written permission has been given by the parent, guardian or
legal representative.

3. Disclosure to third parties
We may provide personal and/or company data to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of the above-mentioned objectives and this is legally permitted.
We can also provide personal and/or company data to third parties if this is legally required. An example of this is that the police requests (personal) data from us in the context of an investigation. In such a case, we must cooperate and are therefore legally obliged to provide this information.

4. Security
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the
protect personal and/or company data against unlawful processing. The following measures have been taken:
• the personal and/or company data are only shared with a limited number of people and only to the extent that they need the personal and/or company data for the implementation of (one of) the above-mentioned objectives;
• all persons who can access personal and/or company data on behalf of Timmers Verpakkingen are obliged to maintain confidentiality thereof;
• There is camera surveillance in the building. This is to ensure the safety of staff and customers. A note has been taped to the door stating that there is a camera.

5. Rights regarding your data
Customers have the right to inspect, rectify or delete the
personal and/or company data. You can also object to the processing of the data
personal and/or company data (or part thereof). There is also the right to have personal and/or company data transferred by us on behalf of the customer in question to another party. In order to respond to the aforementioned request, we may ask for:
identification. If a customer has given permission for the processing of
personal and/or company data, there is always the right to withdraw this consent.

Complaints
In case a customer has a complaint about the processing of his or her
personal and/or company data, we request the customer to contact us
via administratie@timmers Packaging.nl. We will accommodate the customer in such a situation if and to the extent we can. A customer always has it
right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (the supervisory authority in the field of privacy protection).
