It does not tear or break and the number of meters of foil is guaranteed. PCR stands for 'Post Consumer Recycled' and PIR stands for 'Post Industrial Recycled'. These are two different waste streams from which plastic is extracted for recycling. This way it gets a second life. The granules used for the production of this hand wrapping film are 80% recycled plastic. The stretch film manufacturer purchases PCR / PIR granules and mixes this with normal virgin granules in an 80% / 20% ratio. This hand-wrap film therefore ensures less use of fossil fuels and lower CO2 emissions. It also contributes to a circular economy. This transparent stretch film has a roll width of 50 centimeters, a guaranteed roll length of 300 meters and a film thickness of 17 microns. One micron is one thousandth of a millimeter. The higher the number of microns, the thicker and stronger the foil is. The wrapping film is made of 80% recycled plastic, and the film itself is also 100% recyclable.
