For optimal stability, it is also important that the wrapping machine starts at the bottom and also includes the sides of the pallet itself in the wrapping. This transparent machine wrapping film has a roll width of 50 centimeters, a roll length of 1340 meters and a film thickness of 23 microns. One micron is one thousandth of a millimeter. The higher the number of microns, the thicker and stronger the foil is. The film has a pre-stretch percentage of 150%. This means that 1 meter of foil can be stretched to a maximum of 2.5 meters. This is why it is also called 'standard' wrapping film without pre-stretch. If your pallet wrapper does not have a pre-stretch installation, then this is the suitable film for you. The foil is wrapped on a sturdy cardboard tube with a center hole of 76 millimeters. One roll weighs 16 kilograms and a full pallet contains 46 rolls. Wrapping film is made entirely of polyethylene and is therefore fully recyclable.
