The side fold (also called weft) of 20 centimeters means a total width of 40 centimeters when fully unfolded. The LDPE crate bags have a thickness of 20 microns. One micron is one thousandth of a millimeter. The higher the number of microns, the thicker and stronger the foil is. These bags are made entirely of polyethylene and are therefore fully recyclable.
