ArtiSplit, also called Poly Paktouw, can be used excellently as binding twine. ArtiSplit is a somewhat stronger type of rope than Sisal and can therefore also be used for heavier binding jobs or industrial use. It is made from a pure plastic PP (polypropylene) granule and is therefore completely recyclable. The rope consists of three threads woven around each other, which in themselves also consist of dozens of small individual threads. This makes the rope both flexible and strong (tensile strength of approximately 130 kilograms). One ball contains a total of 480 meters of rope and weighs 2.0 kilograms. There are 180 bulbs on a full pallet.
