By processing agricultural waste into cardboard, it is given a second life and the CO2 remains stored in the cardboard. The environmental impact of this paper is 47% lower than cardboard from trees and 29% lower than recycled cardboard. By purchasing these folders, small-scale farmers in developing countries not only receive income for the food that grows on the plant (20% of the crop) but also for the agricultural waste. No trees are used in the cardboard. The cardboard is chlorine-free and does not affect the documents (archival life up to 100 years). This cardboard is DIN Home Compostable, EN-13432 (industrial compostable), ECF Bleaching, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 9706 and OHSAS 18001 certified.
